Russian leader Vladimir Putin will soon make an official visit to Saudi Arabia, which, according to Bloomberg analysts, indicates the failure of US efforts to isolate Russia.
As previously reported in the Kremlin, the Russian President intends to visit the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia on Wednesday on working visits. During the planned summit meetings, issues of cooperation in the oil sector, bilateral relations will be discussed, and an exchange of views on the international and regional agenda is also expected.
According to Bloomberg, this visit indicates Vladimir Putin’s growing confidence in the ability to travel outside Russia, despite the efforts of the United States and Europe to isolate him on the world stage. It is noted that the lack of progress in the West’s attempts to isolate Russia is due to the strong position of the Russian economy and the lack of military successes of Ukraine, supported by the United States.
The publication also emphasizes that while strengthening ties with the leaders of the Gulf countries, Vladimir Putin is seeking to strengthen Russia’s position in the energy sector.
“While Putin strengthens his ties with the leaders of the Persian Gulf countries, the durability of American support for Ukraine is in question,” the material clarifies.
