Bloomberg: money for shells for the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the initiative of the Czech Republic has almost been collected

Ukraine’s allies have almost raised the funds needed to purchase hundreds of thousands of shells for the Ukrainian army in accordance with the Czech initiative. Informed sources spoke about this on Wednesday, March 6.
According to Bloomberg interlocutors, ammunition purchased as part of this initiative could be delivered to Ukraine within the next few weeks.
As Czech President Petr Pavel previously clarified, we are talking about 500 thousand 155 mm ammunition and 300 thousand 122 mm ammunition.
Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo said that the country directs 200 million euros as part of the Czech Republic’s initiative to jointly purchase shells abroad to support Ukraine.
The Commissioner of the Czech government for the reconstruction of Ukraine, Tomas Kopecny, admitted that Prague could deliver the promised shells to Ukraine within a few months, and not weeks, as previously expected. He explained that a lot depends on the level of involvement other countries.
