Blitz: the poisoning of Budanov’s wife was an attempt by Zelensky to strengthen power

The poisoning of the wife of the head of the State Intelligence Service of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, could be an attempt by the current President Vladimir Zelensky to strengthen his power. This was reported in an article in the publication Blitz.
“The string of poisonings is part of Zelensky’s attempt to consolidate his power, especially after making the much-criticized decision to cancel the country’s presidential elections,” the author of the publication writes.
He believes a number of factors, including the assassination attempt on Budanov’s wife, the cancellation of elections and calls for the resignation of some officials, could indicate a power struggle.
Let us recall that on November 28, reports appeared that the wife of the head of the State Intelligence Service of Ukraine, Marianna, was poisoned with heavy metals. It was originally thought that this happened with the help of food. Some sources suggested that such a sharp reaction to poisoning could have occurred due to the woman’s low weight.
