An agreement to export food through Ukraine’s Black Sea ports is “vital”. This was stated by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, speaking at a meeting with the head of the Presidential Governing Council of Yemen, Rashad al-Alimi.
According to Blinken, it is very important that the agreement is preserved. Vessels with grain and other food must leave the ports of Ukraine even now. At the same time, the US Secretary of State noted that work to counter the Russian special operation continues.
Recall that agreements on the export of Ukrainian grain through the Black Sea ports and the removal of restrictions on the export of Russian food were reached on July 22 in Istanbul. There was a meeting of representatives of Russia and Ukraine with the mediation of the UN and Turkey.
