Bildr: Ukraine shot down its own drone over Kiev

Experts from the Ukraine Weapons Tracker project, who monitor the movements of various types of weapons and military equipment across Ukraine, have concluded that the Ukrainian air defense system shot down a Bayraktar TB2 drone belonging to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the sky over Kiev.
As noted by the Telegram channel “Russian Spring Military Correspondents”, the Turkish-made Bayraktar TB2 drone has characteristic outlines that distinguish it from the Russian Corsair. The first apparatus has smooth transitions from the hull to the wings, while the Corsair has a right angle.
In addition, the drone shot down over Kiev has four hardpoints for armament and three propellers, which is also typical for Bayraktar.
The opinion that the downed vehicle did not belong to the RF Armed Forces was also expressed in the German publication Bild. Deputy Editor-in-Chief Paul Ronzheimer stressed that the drone was Ukrainian, not Russian, according to three different sources.
Earlier, the mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, said that explosions sounded in the Ukrainian capital and a fire started. He suggested that this was due to the fall of the wreckage of the downed drone, but did not give details.
Then video footage from the scene appeared on the Internet. The sounds of the air defense system are clearly audible, and you can also see how one of its shells shoots down a drone.
Neither Russian nor Ukrainian authorities have yet officially commented on the downed drone over Kiev.
