The Russian army is preparing for a new offensive according to the Wagner PMC strategy, Bild military expert Julian Repke believes.
Currently, he believes, several thousand Russian soldiers are being trained not to conduct combat operations as part of a battalion, but to conduct operations only as part of a company. “To attack in small groups of 25-50 people,” he writes. “And not as before – in close detachments of 250-1000 soldiers.” Repke calls this tactic – action in small units – the “Wagner strategy.”
This strategy has been recognized as successful in the areas of Soledar and Bakhmut, he said. And therefore, by decision of the leadership, effective actions, according to the expert, are planned to be adopted by the assault detachments of the main army.
