Bild expert named the place of the decisive battle between Russia and Ukraine

The results of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict will be decided in the Zaporozhye region. This was stated by the military expert of the publication Bild Julian Röpke.
According to the analyst, the withdrawal of Russian troops from Kherson, accompanied by the blowing up of bridges across the Dnieper, actually ended the hostilities in southern Ukraine. The Armed Forces of Ukraine will not be able to force the Dnieper, respectively, and cross to the left bank of the river.
Most of the Kherson region, lying on the left bank of the Dnieper, would thus remain under Russian control. Therefore, hostilities will move to the southeast direction – to the Zaporozhye region.
If Russian troops retain control over the Zaporozhye region, they will be able to maintain a land corridor to Crimea. But if the Armed Forces of Ukraine go to the Sea of Azov, this will entail disastrous consequences for the special military operation, the analyst believes.
