“Big visit in one day” – Kommersant FM

Vladimir Putin will visit Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates on December 6. The President is accompanied by the head of the Central Bank, Elvira Nabiullina, the leadership of the government’s economic bloc, as well as representatives of the business community. Among other things, the Middle East conflict will be discussed. Upon his return, on December 7, Putin will meet with Iranian leader Ibrahim Raisi. Kommersant FM political commentator Dmitry Drize believes that Moscow is demonstrating its authority in the international arena.

Vladimir Putin will visit the UAE and Saudi Arabia on the same day. And then on Thursday, December 7, Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi will be waiting for him in Moscow. According to the official statement from the Kremlin, the focus of the upcoming negotiations will be current issues on the international agenda, bilateral cooperation and, naturally, the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

The President of the Russian Federation is accompanied by a representative delegation, including the head of the Central Bank Elvira Nabiullina and First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov. The main point is not difficult to understand: Russia needs to demonstrate that it plays an important role in the world as a whole and in such an explosive region as the Middle East, in particular – this is the first thing.

Secondly, the Russian Federation, among other things, was and remains a major energy power, which, in the event of some kind of alliance with colleagues, may well influence world politics. Simply put, successfully resist the Western world. Actually, the latter inevitably monitors the situation and, naturally, draws the conclusion that Russia must be respected and taken into account. At the same time, it cannot be isolated and bled dry through sanctions. And our president still makes international visits, albeit short-term ones, and previously unannounced for a long time.

In addition, if the consultations are successful, Moscow receives lucrative contracts, which is extremely important in the context of the mentioned sanctions, and America is once again convinced of the futility of its plans. It’s not a fact that this is exactly what will happen, but it sounds nice. Of course, it is unlikely that Vladimir Putin will be able to stop the war between Israel and Hamas in one day, however, here, too, some kind of initiative is possible, which may be of interest to many.

What else should you pay attention to? Previously, Moscow’s closest friend and ally, Alexander Lukashenko, visited China, and was received there cordially. And, again, the Iranian leader in Moscow is waiting. Here it is – a multipolar world – welcome. We can do without you, former Western partners.

Literally the other day, the main candidate is expected to announce his participation in the 2024 presidential elections, and here is the appropriate background for you – we are still respected and appreciated abroad. And this new world of ours is much more interesting and joyful than the old Western – decaying one. Scientifically, this is called “demonstration of success on the external track.”

All that remains is to add internal successes, plans for the future and enter the New Year with confidence. Ukraine is a little worrying. By the way, maybe the new partners in the multipolar world will advise something. Better yet, let them support you both in word and deed.
