How informs The Hill, National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said that Joe Biden had no plans to apologize for the American bombing of Hiroshima in 1945.
Recall that from May 19 to 21, the summit of the G7 member countries will be held in Hiroshima, Japan.
According to Sullivan, Biden will refrain from making statements, but will take part in the laying of wreaths along with the heads of other states.
“G7 leaders have arrived to pay tribute to both history and Japanese Prime Minister Kishida of Hiroshima,” the presidential aide said.
