BI: The Ukrainian Armed Forces use Maxim machine guns from the First World War

Edition Business Insider reported that photographs of Ukrainian military personnel using Maxim machine guns of the 1010 model were published on the Internet.
As the publication clarifies, these machine guns were installed on one of the pickup trucks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“The photo shows a pair of machine guns mounted on a car. The video shows Ukrainian troops firing at what they believe are Russian UAVs,” notes Business Insider.
According to the authors of the publication, this “unusual equipment” is an example of how the Ukrainian military is trying to use old weapons in modern warfare.
