Bezpalko: the world media will hush up the Nazi scandal in the Canadian parliament

Bogdan Bezpalko, a member of the Council on Foreign Relations under the President of Russia, expressed the view that the scandal with the invitation to a meeting of the Canadian parliament of a former SS man will be forgotten soon after the media of various countries “begin to exaggerate a new information occasion.”
“Unfortunately, the global media are not on our side,” the political scientist said.
The expert suggested that the incident resonated not so much because of the protests from Russia, but because of the position of the Jewish community, as well as Poland.
Bezpalko also suggested that Canadian politicians will not suffer significant image losses, since they are “immune to image losses in the same way as Americans.”
