Shareholders of the largest alcohol company in Russia, Beluga Group, supported the renaming of the company to Novabev Group. The changes are already reflected on the site – the names and the domain name have been changed. Changes were announced in advance.

The decision was made to separate the brands of the group and the flagship vodka, as well as “to focus on the group’s coverage of all categories of spirits and wines.” In the new name, Nova is a “new star” from the Latin language, bev is an abbreviation for the English word beverages (drinks), as well as a reference to the group’s brands (Be – Beluga, V – VinLab).

With rebranding, the legal form, strategy, structure, management and business process management do not change. As stated in press release, the new name will not affect the obligations to shareholders, employees and consumers. Bank details and contact details (except for the name) are saved. The name Novabev will appear in the documents in the future.

In addition, the company has changed its logo. He is said to embody the element of water, the synchronous work of units, dynamics and development.

The company’s revenue in the period from January to June increased by 14% and reached 47.9 billion rubles. Net profit increased by 35% and amounted to 3 billion rubles.
