The use of drones in agriculture can increase productivity by five to six times. This was stated by First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Andrey Belousov, noting also the experience of using them, transmits TASS.

I can say that the use of unmanned vehicles in agriculture, we already have experience, increases the yield by five to six times, that is, it makes it possible to increase the yield by five to six times,” he said.

Earlier today, in an interview with RIA Novosti, Deputy Prime Minister Victoria Abramchenko reportedthat the Russian Ministry of Transport is discussing the possibility of returning permission to fly drones used by agricultural producers at an altitude of up to 150 m. If it is possible to agree with the Ministry of Transport, agricultural producers will be able to continue to use drones, Abramchenko added. In her opinion, the authorities will be able to find a compromise solution.
