Belousov announced the implementation of the investment standard by 44 regions this year

This year, the implementation of the regional investment standard will be completed throughout Russia, First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov said during a meeting of the investment headquarters with the participation of 89 regions.

“Earlier, 45 regions completed the implementation of the regional investment standard. Now this work is to be done in 44 more regions. The place of subjects in the national rating of investment attractiveness depends on the selection of responsible and formed investment team, ”the press service of the government quotes Belousov as saying.

Standardization of investment processes will simplify the scaling of business and ensure the flow of domestic investment in the regions of Russia, the Deputy Prime Minister noted. According to him, it is important to ensure close interaction between the regions and business associations and the Ministry of Economic Development, inform business about innovations, and also convey the essence of each standard and make them a working tool for investors. Particular attention should be paid to four new regions of the Russian Federation, he added.

In total, the regional investment standard consists of five instruments: an investment declaration, which contains a development strategy for the region, development agencies involved in attracting private instruments, investment committees working on operational contentious issues, as well as an investment map and a set of investment rules. The investment map contains data on the territorial planning of the region, its resource base, infrastructure, support measures, and the set of investment rules contains the optimal investor action algorithms and the timing for connecting to the infrastructure.

It is also noted that the training of regional investment teams takes place on the basis of the RANEPA.
