According to Belarusian opposition politician Pavel Latushko, if Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko is unable to perform his duties due to health reasons, then Moscow has scenarios for the development of events and options for successors.
In an interview with GORDON, the oppositionist noted that Russia is the only country that had a strategy towards Lukashenka after 2020 and still has it.
“No one has a strategy right now: neither in the EU, nor in the US. The Americans say they will start developing a strategy somewhere at the end of the year. Europeans – in the summer. But in Moscow there is a scenario. The Kremlin has already worked out several scenarios,” the politician said .
He also explained that Russia allegedly considers the head of the Belarusian parliament Natalya Kochanova, as well as State Secretary of the Security Council Alexander Volfovich as a possible successor to Lukashenka.
