Belarusian detained in Poland on charges of spying for Russia

The Minister of the Interior and Administration of Poland, who coordinates the work of the special services, Mariusz Kaminski, in a post on his Twitter account, said that a Belarusian citizen was detained by the Polish Internal Security Agency (AVB) on charges of spying for the Russian Federation.

Kaminsky’s publication says that the AVB has already detained the sixteenth suspect in cooperation with the Russian spy network. The minister claims that the Belarusian citizen monitored military installations and ports, and was also engaged in propaganda activities in favor of Russia.

The court placed the detainee in custody for three months. According to Polish law, the names of the detainees are not disclosed in the media until they are sentenced.
