“As for the final documents that will be signed as a result of the meeting between our leaders already during the current Belt and Road Forum, today we are working with our Russian colleagues. As a result, we will inform you in a timely manner, – said he (TASS quote). He specified that the parties are working on these documents.
On July 25, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said that the head of state could visit China. He specified that Russia had received an invitation to visit Beijing in October as part of the Belt and Road Forum. Prior to this, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov specified that during Putin’s visit, the leaders of the two countries would discuss trade and economic cooperation and the situation in the world.
Chinese President Xi Jinping, who was on an official visit to Russia in March, invited Putin to come “at a convenient time for him” in 2023. During his visit to Moscow, signed a number of statements, including the adoption of a document on a plan for the development of key areas of Russian-Chinese economic cooperation until 2030.
