Democrats called on Biden to speak more often in public with “unconventional and sharp conversations”

Senior US Democratic Party officials are calling on President Joe Biden’s advisers to organize more appearances and interactions with the press. At the meetings, according to fellow party members, he should dispel doubts about his cognitive abilities, writes Politico.

Previously Special Prosecutor Robert Huhr completed the investigation in the case of Biden’s improper storage of classified files. In his report, he calls Biden “a nice older man with memory problems.” Thus, as the document says, the owner of the White House was unable to accurately indicate the start and end dates of the work of the vice president.

Party officials say the president now needs to make much more public appearances. Representatives of the Democratic Party want the head of state to communicate with the press and voters in the “non-standard and sharp conversations” for which he was known in the past. They believe this will help allay concerns about the president’s mental acuity. The Politico story emphasizes that “the risk of possible mistakes is worth it to shore up Biden’s crumbling image.”

The oldest US president is now 81 years old. If he wins the election in 2024, there will be 86 at the end of his second term.
