The head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed to initiate a criminal case on the fact that the SBU put the commander of the group of forces in the special operation zone, Sergei Surovikin, on the wanted list by the SBU.
The ministry said in a statement that information appeared on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine about Surovikin as “hiding from the pre-trial investigation” and that he was charged with “encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine.” Bastrykin instructed to open a case against the SBU for illegal initiation of a criminal case, the UK explained.
Earlier, Bastrykin ordered to open a similar case due to the announcement of the deputy head of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, on the wanted list.
