Bank “Trust” found a buyer for the largest agricultural holding in Bashkiria

GC “Russian Grain Ufa”, which was managed by the bank “Trust”, was sold at electronic auction for 6.37 billion rubles. The buyer was a subsidiary of the Cherkizovo group – the Mikhailovsky agro-industrial complex, follows from the auction protocol published on the website of the organizer of the procedure – the Russian Auction House.
According to the presentation, which was being prepared for the auction (Vedomosti got acquainted with it), the Russian Grain Ufa Group of Companies is the largest agro-industrial holding in Bashkortostan.
The lot includes five poultry farms with a production capacity of 65,000 tons of poultry meat and 750 million eggs per year, a processing complex for 25,000 tons of products, a feed mill for 240,000 tons of feed and a land bank of 18,000 hectares. “Trust” began to control the group in March 2019, after the merger of Rost-bank. Previously, the agro-industrial holding belonged to the ex-co-owner of Binbank Mikail Shishkhanov.
Cherkizovo calls itself the largest producer of meat products in Russia.
In the ranking of poultry farms of the National Union of Poultry Breeders in 2021, the group took first place with a production volume of 813,000 tons. It also ranks eighth in pork production with a volume of 241,600 tons in live weight. The main owners of Cherkizovo are the brothers Sergey and Evgeny Mikhailov.
