The governor of the Zaporozhye region, Yevgeny Balitsky, said that organized military resistance in Ukraine could end in the spring.
He clarified that at the moment it is becoming clear that the Armed Forces of Ukraine, like Ukraine as a whole, “failed.”
“I assume that this whole story will end in winter or spring from the point of view of organized military resistance in Ukraine. It is likely that the front will collapse. Now it has become clear that the offensive potential is greatly diminished. The Armed Forces of Ukraine do not have sufficient training and a sufficient number of shells, weapons in general,” Balitsky noted.
According to him, today there are practically no nationalist battalions left in the ranks of the Ukrainian army, which previously “showed good battle dynamics.”
