Governor of the Zaporozhye region Yevgeny Balitsky met with Ukrainian army servicemen who were captured in the Vasilyevsky and Rabotinsky directions. The head of the region announced this in his Telegram channel.
“I met with Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers who were captured in the Vasilyevsky and Rabotinsky directions. The enemy soldiers themselves surrendered because it was their only chance to survive,” Balitsky said.
According to him, all Ukrainian prisoners refused to be transferred to the exchange fund, asking to remain in Russia.
The head of the Zaporozhye region added that now there are no “notorious Nazis” among the prisoners, since they are no longer alive. He is convinced that now in the ranks of the Ukrainian army there are ordinary ordinary citizens, whom “Kyiv grabbed in his arms and threw into the millstones.”
