Acting Governor of the Zaporizhzhia region Yevhen Balitsky in his Telegram channel told about the situation in the Zaporozhye direction over the past day. He noted that the Russian troops managed to take advantageous defensive lines in the Rabotino area.
“In the course of prolonged artillery shelling and assault operations, our units occupied quite advantageous defense lines in the Rabotino area,” Balitsky wrote.
At the same time, he stressed that the situation over the past day in this direction was tense.
In addition, the acting head of the Zaporozhye region noted that Russian troops destroyed the assault group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which suffered heavy losses and was forced to retreat.
Balitsky also named the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the past ten days – about 1.5 thousand people.
