Acting Governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo in an interview for the VGTRK said that the inhabitants of Kherson are being repressed.
According to Saldo, which are cited in his telegram channel, “the atrocities committed by the Ukrainian occupiers have become public.” He also stated that the number of Kherson residents “wishing to join volunteer detachments to protect their native land” is increasing.
According to Saldo’s statement, “militants of nationalist formations and the SBU are checking all the remaining residents” of the city, and first of all they are looking for those who participated in organizing a referendum on joining the Russian Federation. “The second category of people who fell under the mass purges” are, according to Saldo, businessmen, they are “accused of collaborationism.”
“Thirdly, they check all the other residents of Kherson,” Saldo also said.
He added that those citizens who want to leave the city through Chernobaevka are being subjected to a “hard test”.
