Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia may become visa-free for Russians

According to Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Yevgeny Ivanov, the issue is being worked out at the diplomatic level with the authorities of Bahrain, Oman and Saudi Arabia on the organization of a visa-free regime for Russians.

He explained that work is currently underway to prepare draft visa-free agreements with Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Zambia. Arrangements are also being worked out with Mexico, Malaysia and a number of Caribbean countries (the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, Barbados, the Republic of Haiti, Trinidad and Tobago, Saint Lucia).

In an interview with TASS, Ivanov recalled that citizens of more than 60 countries can enter Russia without a visa, that is, with ordinary passports.
