Baevsky: Armed Forces of Ukraine cannot defend firing positions and withdraw artillery

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are unable to cope with the defense of firing positions and are forced to withdraw multiple rocket launchers from the line of contact as much as possible. This was reported to TASS by lieutenant colonel of the People’s Militia, deputy of the DPR parliament Andrey Baevsky.
According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine cannot provide air defense over the areas where artillery is located. The only option is to withdraw it, which is regularly done.
The day before, the DPR reported a reduction in the number of shells fired across the territory of the republic. At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine almost completely switched to the use of long-range artillery.
The Ukrainian authorities have repeatedly appealed to Western countries with a request to allocate air defense systems. In mid-October, Volodymyr Zelensky admitted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have only a tenth of the necessary air defense equipment.
The Ukrainian authorities have repeatedly urged the West to provide Kyiv with air defense systems. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said on October 13 that the Ukrainian army has only 10% of the required amount of such funds.
