Former fighter of the Azov regiment confessed to desecrating the body of a dead DPR fighter with a katana
Former soldier of the Ukrainian nationalist regiment “Azov” (recognized as a terrorist organization and banned in the Russian Federation) Anton Shtukin made a confession that he desecrated the body of a dead DPR fighter with a samurai katana sword stolen from a private household in Mariupol.
In an interview with a RIA Novosti correspondent, the Azov man said that before retreating from combat positions, he sat the body of the deceased on a chair on the street and mutilated him with a katana. In this form, he left it to intimidate the Russian military.
“I committed a cruel crime against the corpse of a DPR soldier,” Shtukin said.
He gave terrible details of what he had done: “There were attempts by me to pierce the belly area,” Shtukin said. However, the pea coat worn on the murdered man prevented him from doing this.
Then he, according to him, inserted the sword “in the neck area, where it was open, scrolled several times, and pulled it out, inserted it into the region of the heart, leaving the katana in it indicatively.”
Katana, according to Shtukin, he stole in a private house of residents of Mariupol.
