Australia refuses to ban tourists from Russia

Australia is not going to ban the entry of tourists from Russia, Australian Defense Minister Richard Marles said in an interview with ABC television.
According to him, Canberra has already introduced a number of sanctions against representatives of the leadership of the Russian Federation, but not against ordinary citizens. He also noted that now such a question is not even considered.
Earlier, the European Commission suspended the visa facilitation agreement with Russia. A number of European states are introducing travel restrictions for Russian citizens. Poland and the Baltic states have announced that they will not let Russian citizens into the Schengen zone even with visas issued by third countries.
