How reports Fox News channel, in the US, a number of states supported Texas in its desire to independently protect its borders from illegal migrants.
As the channel clarifies, the attorney generals of 26 American states controlled by the Republican Party sent a corresponding letter to US President Joe Biden.
“Prosecutors have told President Biden and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas that they support the Lone Star State…Millions of migrants pouring into Texas illegally and in a coordinated manner is an invasion,” the document says.
The letter also notes that all states subject to this attack “must be able to defend themselves from invasion.”
