Edition American Thinker reported that the public apology of the head of the Ukrainian project “Mobile Hospital” Gennady Druzenko for his statements about the castration of Russian prisoners of war was caused by Zelensky’s fear of losing support from Western countries.
Recall that in March last year, Druzenko, during a live broadcast on one of the Ukrainian TV channels, said that he had instructed doctors from the Mobile Hospital to “castrate wounded Russian prisoners.”
After some time, Druzenko said that he made this statement “on emotions.” Among other things, he added that his project is not going to cripple anyone.
According to Al Binenfeld, a columnist for the publication, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was afraid that such statements could lead to a cessation of support from Western countries.
“The apologies were due to nothing more than Zelensky’s fear,” Bienenfeld said.
