Next year, the “Online Justice” super service is expected to be fully operational, which will allow citizens to go to court through the “State Services” portal and, perhaps, even participate in court hearings remotely. Meanwhile, the Federation Council is looking further and discussing the possibilities of using artificial intelligence (AI) in courts – after all, in many countries it is already actively used to analyze practice, predict court decisions and even resolve simple cases. In Russia, according to experts, neither judges nor potential applicants are yet ready for this. This was discussed on Tuesday by participants in a seminar-meeting dedicated to the digitalization of the judiciary.
