Artem Uss accused the US of politically motivated persecution

The American authorities organized the persecution of a Russian businessman and the son of the former head of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Artem Uss, for political reasons – this was a statement made by the businessman himself on Wednesday, December 6.
Artem Uss recalled in an interview with RBC about the reward announced by the United States for information that would allow him to be detained or found guilty of the acts accused of him.
The entrepreneur ironically expressed regret that “this reward will not be received by anyone, since there are no facts in nature confirming my guilt,” and the accusations from the American authorities “contain false information and are based on the manipulation of facts.”
After the United States promised $7 million for any information about the whereabouts of Artem Uss, who fled from house arrest in Italy on March 23, Italian police became more active. Information has emerged that an arrest warrant has been issued for four peoplewho allegedly helped Uss leave Italy.
At the same time, the Italian media wrote that the American side, which sought the extradition of Artem Uss, has no evidence possible involvement of Russian special services in the escape of the son of the former governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory from house arrest in Italy.
