Deputy: Armenian authorities can take steps to withdraw from the CSTO
Member of the National Assembly of Armenia, Secretary of the “I Have the Honor” faction Tigran Abrahamyan told reporters that the country’s authorities may take steps to withdraw from the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
According to him, official Yerevan can continue steps to legally formalize withdrawal from the CSTO, whose members today are Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
“The Armenian authorities, in continuation of their steps, may not only withdraw from the Organization, which is stated openly, but also, in general, significantly worsen relations with the Russian Federation,” Abrahamyan did not rule out.
