The Ukrainian military shelled a substation in the Belgorod region, wrote Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel.
“The shells damaged two transformers. There are no victims or injured. My deputy Konstantin Polezhaev, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the police and other operational services are on the spot. Power engineers are starting to reconnect through distribution networks. As soon as possible, they will try to eliminate the consequences, ”he wrote.
Gladkov said earlier today that as a result of the shelling of the city of Shebekino by Ukraine, one person was previously seriously wounded. On November 15, as a result of another shelling of Shebekino, two people were killed and three were injured, later one wounded man died.
After the start of Russia’s special operation in Ukraine, the Russian border territories were regularly attacked by the Ukrainian side. Since April 11, a high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat has been in effect in the Belgorod region. On November 6, the authorities of the region extended this regime until November 21.
