Argentine President Miley signed a decree on measures to liberalize the economy
The new President of Argentina, Javier Miley, in an address to the country’s residents, said that he had signed a decree on more than 300 reforms to liberalize the Argentine economy.
According to him, an emergency decree was signed the day before, which included these innovations.
“In my speech I mentioned only 30 reforms. In total, there are about 300 of them on emergency maternity leave,” Miley noted.
He clarified that his main goal is to begin the “restructuring” of Argentina, removing many of the barriers holding back economic development, and returning “freedom.”
The Argentine President added that the measures used will include privatization, deregulation of prices, export liberalization and others.
