Arestovich is included in the Peacemaker database

Former adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Oleksiy Arestovich is included in the database of the Ukrainian site “Peacemaker”. In the card on the site, Arestovich is listed as a “professional provocateur.”

“Participation in acts of humanitarian aggression against Ukraine. Conscious participation in activities that undermine the defense capability of Ukraine by demoralizing the armed forces of Ukraine. Discrediting state authorities and administration,” the card says.

The office of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on the eve granted the request of Arestovich to be dismissed from the post of a freelance adviser. On the evening of January 14, after the explosion, the entrance of a multi-storey building in the Dnieper (formerly Dnepropetrovsk) collapsed. After that, Arestovich said that the entrance of the high-rise building collapsed due to the fact that a rocket fell on it, which was knocked out by the Ukrainian air defense system. The military command of Ukraine denied this information.

After this incident, the Kremlin reminded that the Russian Armed Forces do not strike at residential buildings and social infrastructure facilities in Ukraine – only at military targets. Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov has repeatedly pointed out this. In particular, on November 24, 2022, he stressed that “special attention is being paid to this.”

The Ukrainian site “Peacemaker” was created in 2014 and positions itself as “the Internet representation of the center for researching crimes against the foundations of Ukraine’s national security, peace, and the security of citizens.” The site contains an open database of personal data of people published without their consent. The database includes journalists, militias from the DPR and LPR, and other citizens whom the site founders consider “traitors to the motherland” and “Kremlin agents.”
