Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova commented in his Telegram channel, a statement by the head of the foreign policy of the European Union, Josep Borrell, on humanitarian assistance to the residents of the Gaza Strip.
Let us recall that the chief European diplomat initially agreed with the need to alleviate the suffering of civilians and increase the volume of humanitarian assistance, but ended his speech with a cynical phrase that “giving food to someone who will be killed the next day” makes no sense.
“Apologetics of transhumanism. I wonder if treating, caring for, loving someone who will die tomorrow is also pointless, from Borrell’s point of view?” Zakharova asked.
