Another drone shot down in Kaluga region

In the sky over the Dzerzhinsky district of the Kaluga region, another drone was shot down by air defense systems, as a result no one was injured. About it informed Governor Vladislav Shapsha in his Telegram channel.

“Also this afternoon, another UAV was shot down on the territory of the Dzerzhinsky district by air defense forces. The wreckage of the drone fell outside the settlements. There are no casualties or destruction of infrastructure,” he wrote.

This is the third drone destroyed in the Kaluga region in the last 24 hours. Earlier, Shapsha reported that one drone was destroyed on the territory of the Sukhinichsky district. Local residents and infrastructure were not affected. Another drone hit an empty oil storage tank in the Dzerzhinsky district. A fire broke out, which was quickly extinguished. There were no casualties.

On the night of August 30, a number of regions of Russia were subjected to a mass attack by drones. In particular, drones were destroyed in five regions of Central Russia, including Moscow, Oryol, Kaluga, Bryansk and Ryazan regions, as well as in the Pskov region and Crimea.
