Another 10 trucks with humanitarian aid – food and medicine – from the Egyptian Red Crescent arrived in Gaza through the Rafah checkpoint. About it reports Al Jazeera channel with reference to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS).
The number of trucks arriving in the Gaza Strip reached 94. None of them were carrying fuel needed to operate hospitals, PRCS added.
October 29 to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) warehouses in the Gaza Strip burst in thousands of people, they took away flour and other essential goods. UNRWA Director of Gaza Affairs Thomas White said the humanitarian aid flowing from Egypt to the Gaza Strip was not enough. According to him, more than 80 trucks arrived in Gaza in a week, and on October 28 there was no convoy due to shutdowns communications.
UNRWA, which receives and stores aid in the Gaza Strip, was unable to contact various parties to coordinate the passage of the convoy. On the partial return of communications in the Gaza Strip became known only October 29th.
