At the same time, over the past month, healthcare has risen in price only by 1.21%. The maximum increase in prices in June was shown by alcoholic beverages and tobacco products (11.13%), as well as transport (7.96%) and the hotel industry and catering (4.32%).
In June, the value of the Turkish lira hit an all-time low. The exchange rate against the dollar rose above 26 lira. At the end of last month, the Central Bank of Turkey raised the key rate immediately almost doubled – from 8.5% to 15%. The rate was adjusted for the first time in 27 months.
