Ankara responded about plans for negotiations on Ukraine on March 25

A representative of the office in the administration of the Turkish leader told Russian journalists that he had no information that peace negotiations on Ukraine could begin on March 25.

The office of Recep Tayyip Erdogan also noted that Ankara has repeatedly stated at the official level that it is ready to conduct such negotiations. “We have nothing to add to this,” said a representative of the Turkish administration.

Today, information appeared on social networks with reference to the Turkish media that peace negotiations on the Ukrainian conflict will supposedly begin on March 25 with the mediation of Turkey. However, it was not possible to find such information in the Turkish media.

Let us recall that earlier the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky visited Turkey. At a meeting with Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan, there was talk about possible peace negotiations in Ukraine with the participation of Russia. Zelensky opposed Russian participation.
