Analyst Repke: Russians near Avdeevka are close to entering operational space

Near Avdeevka, Russian armed forces are in close proximity to the opening of operational space. This was stated by Bild military analyst Julian Röpke.
According to his assessment, in a number of places, Russian armed forces have already broken through the Ukrainian defensive line west of Avdeevka, in the direction of the villages of Berdychi, Semenovka, Orlovka and Tonenkoe. Fighting continues for control of Berdychi and Semenovka, however, according to Repke, these settlements are already partially under Russian control.
If Semyonovka is captured, this will not make the situation easier for the Russian troops, he is sure. But for a long time afterwards they will not have settlements on their way in which Ukrainian troops could set up strongholds.
In the event of the capture of Berdychi and Semenovka, Russia will open up an area 3-5 kilometers to Umanskoye and Novopokrovskoye, which, according to the expert, could become operational space for the Russian Armed Forces.
