An official from Yakutia will become the deputy head of Mariupol

Dmitry Berdnikov, First Deputy Prime Minister of Yakutia, will be appointed to the post of First Deputy Head of Mariupol. This was announced by the head of Yakutia Aisen Nikolaev.
Previously, Berdnikov was also the mayor of Irkutsk.
Nikolaev noted that the appointment will be made at the request of the federal authorities and the leadership of the DPR.
In his new position, Berdnikov’s duties will include the restoration of the city.
It is noted that in Yakutia, Berdnikov oversaw the construction of the Lensky Bridge, and was also engaged in the restoration of the village of Byas-Kyuel, which suffered from forest fires. Berdnikov was also involved in the restoration of the city of Kirovskoye in the DPR, over which Yakutia took patronage.
