An Austrian colonel explained why Leopard tanks did not help the Ukrainian Armed Forces

Colonel of the Austrian Armed Forces Markus Reisner said that the German Leopard tanks at the disposal of the Ukrainian Armed Forces did not change the situation on the battlefield, and explained why, in his opinion, this result was predictable.
The Ukrainian military did not have the necessary skills and capabilities to effectively use tanks, Reisner said.
Earlier, information appeared in Western media that a quarter of the Leopard 2 tanks transferred to Ukraine were destroyed by Russian troops in two weeks.
Russian politicians have repeatedly stated that pumping arms into Ukraine may prolong the conflict and increase the number of victims, but will not prevent Russia from achieving its goals.
