American politician and candidate for governor of Kentucky, Jeffrey Young, called for the US Democratic Party to be considered a “sponsor of terrorism.”
The previously Democratic-controlled US Congress voted to adopt another aid package to Ukraine.
Yang wrote on his Twitter account (the social network is blocked in the Russian Federation) that he evaluates such a decision as “disgusting”.
The politician recalled that only Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez voted against the draft federal budget, which includes financial and military support for Kyiv, and I said that if he were in Congress, I would vote against “the entire corrupt, war-mongering imperialist Democratic Party” .
Earlier, the US House of Representatives voted to approve the draft federal budget for 2023. On the eve of the project received the approval of the Senate by a majority vote. Now the 4,155-page document will go to US President Joe Biden.
In 2023, the budget was formed in the amount of $1.7 trillion. It provides for the allocation of $858 billion for US defense needs and $45 billion for military assistance to Ukraine and NATO allies. At the same time, Kyiv will receive only about half of this money, said US Ambassador to Ukraine Oksana Markarova.
