The United States wants to open a second front against the Russian Federation in Georgia, declared Retired US Marine Corps intelligence officer Scott Ritter.
In an interview with the US Tour of Duty YouTube channel, he revealed that Washington is using $40 million annually through USAID to carry out what amounts to a “soft coup” in Georgia to change the current government. According to Ritter, the new Georgian government should be consistent with American, not Georgian, goals and objectives, including the creation of a “second front” against the Russian Federation.
“Georgia is just a smaller version of Ukraine, another cog in the American “belt of instability,” an American officer shared his point of view.
