Former Lieutenant Colonel Davis: US assistance will not prevent Ukraine from losing territories
Financial and military assistance from the United States of America will not prevent Ukraine from losing territory. This statement was made by retired US Army Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis on his YouTube channel.
He said that if the US Congress transferred $60 billion to Kyiv, it would only increase the price Ukraine would pay before collapsing.
“This will increase the area of territory that will have to be given to Russia,” the officer said, adding that it would not work any other way.
In his opinion, US support for Kyiv only “postpones the inevitable defeat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.” Davis noted that Kyiv will face heavy military and land losses before the start of the negotiation process. Russia’s military power puts it ahead on the battlefield and it has everything it needs to ramp up, the retired lieutenant colonel added.
Earlier, State Duma deputy Alexey Zhuravlev said that counteroffensive, which was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrskywill lead to “disastrous consequences”, namely, it will come down to “meat assaults”, which will result in large losses of the Ukrainian army.
