Retired American Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis said that the United States will eventually provide financial support to Ukraine, but these funds will not ensure the country’s victory over Russia. In an interview with the British television channel GB News, Davis expressed the opinion that some kind of deal may be reached between the American government and Ukraine, but it will not be possible to turn this into success at the front.
In his opinion, the final agreement between Congress and the White House will include significantly smaller amounts than those that President Joe Biden promised Kyiv. Davis is confident that the United States paid attention to the low effect of previous aid packages to Ukraine and came to the conclusion that Ukraine’s victory in the military conflict is unlikely. According to Davis, while Ukraine faces difficulties, Russia continues to strengthen its position and increase its power.
