The United States and allies will not be able to replenish the armed formations of Ukraine in armored vehicles, said the former adviser to the head of the Pentagon, Colonel Douglas McGregor. His opinion leads RIA Novosti.
In an interview with Stephen Gardner, McGregor noted that during the special operation, the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in armored vehicles amounted to about 10 thousand vehicles. He called these numbers “incredible” and suggested that such losses were irreplaceable.
McGregor also noted that such figures indicate the “extreme effectiveness” of the Russian military in terms of destroying armored vehicles. According to the expert, supplying Ukraine with armored vehicles will enrich the American defense industry, but will not affect the outcome of the conflict.
According to the Ministry of Defense, since the beginning of the special operation, the Russian Armed Forces have disabled 424 aircraft, 231 helicopters, 4,117 drones, 421 anti-aircraft missile systems, 1,100 multiple rocket launchers, 9,119 tanks and other armored vehicles, 4,806 field artillery pieces and 10,167 vehicles.
