American ex-spy accused the United States of imitation of aid to Ukraine

The United States is setting Ukraine up by simulating assistance, but not being ready to really protect this country. This was stated by former American intelligence officer Scott Ritter, reports RT.
As Ritter noted, the American authorities are only making loud statements about the situation in Ukraine. But neither the US army nor the armies of the NATO countries are capable of challenging Russia.
The expert believes that the United States will continue to spend billions of dollars on military assistance to Ukraine, aiming to hide its weakness. Washington understands that Russia has the strategic initiative in this case. Accordingly, the United States will not directly interfere in the events in Ukraine.
Ritter also stressed that the Ukrainian events are not an existential crisis for the United States and its allies. Therefore, even a defeat in Ukraine will be perceived only as an ordinary failure, like the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan.
